My preferred platform for video editing is DaVinci Resolve Studio. I'd taught Adobe Premiere for decades previously, but Resolve has proven to be a more reliable, cost effective solution and robust solution to my occasional video editing projects.
Scripted Short Format

The video has been used not only by our school, but also in other schools and school boards as it was delivered on YouTube.
ScreenCapture Tutorial
With over 700K views, this is about at close to YouTube fame as I'm likely to see! A roughly produced tutorial for my students received a favorable response on the internet, and replaced with updated versions, is still racking up the views and positive comments!
Scripted Tutorial/Demonstartion
The use of a teleprompter and whitescreen allows for a scripted, more structured tutorial.
This video was produced as both an exemplar, and check list for my students to prep the camera settings for our in-class productions.
